Thank you. We are using Viator while we are in Tokyo before the cruise. We decided to use the ship tours in case of any amendments to sailings which we have had!

Enjoy your cruise around Japan. We are presently on a world cruise having stopped in Japan for 10 days. Most of our tours were booked through Viator rather than ship tours.
I am not sure whether you have looked into this travel company. A personal guide can provide better information about your port as oppose to the ship tour with one guide and maybe 25 other passengers.
Just a thought.
